Here is a quick overview:

– Open the roller and place a tip of your choice behind the white line.
– Fill the roller, but don’t take too much and close it again, then simultaneously roll downwards with both thumbs.
– Place a paper of your choice (king size or shorter) by inserting it straight into the narrow slit from above. The gumline should be on top and facing you.
– Turn the roller downwards further so that it rolls the leaf in with it until only the gumline is sticking out. Wet the gumline and give it another full turn – that’s it!

Be sure to clean the roller after use to prevent it from sticking.
