• Wrapper: “ripe” brown color with touches of deep red, thick (which indicates that the leaves are from the upper part), silky, oily and shiny. The wrapper is what gives these cigars their name, Maduro 5, since their wrappers are aged for 5 years (5 times longer than normal), a process that refines their aroma, flavor and appearance and, at the same time, gives them that dark color. The fact that the layers are from the upper part of the plant makes it easier for them to be more “mature”, darker.

Launched in 2007, the Línea Maduro 5 is defined by its wrapper: top-quality leaves harvested from the highest part of shade-grown plants, then aged for a minimum of five years. This extended maturation produces a naturally dark, shimmering “Maduro” leaf with a unique sweetness and a complex, toasted aroma.

A Short Smoke with Deep Complexity

Don’t let the “Secretos” (Secret) size fool you. While it is a Petit Corona designed for a 30-minute session, it packs the full-bodied punch of its larger siblings, the Magicos and Genios. The first light reveals a burst of roasted nuts and cedar, which quickly evolves into a creamy, dense smoke with signature layers of dark cocoa, espresso bean, and black pepper.
